Often Northern regions where the Aurora Borealis can be viewed get a bad wrapped for being barren and lifeless areas. However, the Aurora has a life of it’s own. I spent many days and night preparing for it’s arrival, some nights despite predictions it would not arrive and other nights it would appear when least expected. Despite the challenges of timing, and not to mention weather, the Aurora was always an adventure to shoot. With a wide variety of movements and patterns in a rainbow of different colours the Aurora will always be one of my favorite subject matters to shoot.
